  • www.okkids.org - A Web site for parents and other people who care about kids in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth (OCCY) is an agency charged with improving services to children and youth within the state of Oklahoma. This website provides parents, professionals, and students with information concerning children, as well as a very broad range of subjects.

  • www.family.org - The official site of Focus on the Family offers practical helps for your marriage and parenting role. Recent magazine articles, letters from Dr. James Dobson, news, RealAudio broadcasts and much more.

  • OASIS - Oklahoma Areawide Services Information System
    OASIS is a FREE statewide information and referral service in Oklahoma that can help locate resources for a variety of social services and health care needs.  Using a computerized database of thousands of agencies, organizations and programs throughout the state, OASIS can help people find the services they need in their area.  OASIS also has listing of national organizations and agencies as well as local support groups. 

  • Parents in Control (The Oklahoma City Web site is no longer available) - A toughlove parent support group for parents with out of control children of all ages. Toughlove International is a non-profit, self-help organization that provides ongoing education and active support to families, empowering parents and young people to accept responsibility for their actions.  Our support network strives to make communities safe places to live.  Thursday evening meetings have been canceled.  Please call Southern Hills Methodist Church located at 8200 South Pennsylvania Ave. Oklahoma City, Ok for further information.

  • Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) is the nations oldest and largest organization devoted entirely to the well-being of America's vulnerable children and their families. 92% of all money spent for charitable purposes. CWLA's 1,000 plus public and private nonprofit member agencies serve 3 million abused and neglected children and their families each year.
  • National School-Age Care Alliance - NSACA is the only national membership organization representing the entire array of public, private, and community-based providers of after school programs. NSACA has over 8,000 members and thirty-five affiliated state organizations. NSACA sponsors a national conference for over 2,000 practitioners and advocates. NSACA promotes national standards of quality school-age care for children and youth 5 - 14 years old, and grants accreditation to programs meeting the standards. NSACA is headquartered in Boston and has a public policy liaison located in Washington, D.C.
